CEPU Apprentice Office Alex Capper made a trip to Port Pirie and Port Augusta TAFEs yesterday to speak to first year electrical apprentices about their rights, and responsibilities during their apprenticeships.
Did you know that the Fair Work Ombudsman doesn’t have the power to make bosses pay back stolen wages? Sure, they can ask nicely – but no wonder so many bad bosses use wage theft as a business model! It’s time to change the rules, support workers, and make wage theft a crime.
